Miley launches her Happy Hippie Foundation with the help of Joan Jett.

We of course all remember Miley Cyrus' Backyard Sessions, just because her version of Dolly Parton's ‘Jolene’ was EVERYTHING. Now guess what, we have good news on the session thingy, ’cause Miley is bringing back those back and hold your breaths, it even gets better, cause this time it’s for a great cause.

It’s all about Miley’s shortly and now officially launched The Happy Hippie Foundation, which hopes to ‘rally young people to fight injustice facing homeless youth, LGBT youth and other vulnerable populations’,

And to spread the word, she’s teamed up with one of her biggest idols, Joan Jett, whom she recently inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, for the first installment of the #‎HappyHippiePresents‬: Backyard Sessions. The two trade verses as they perform a rocking rendition of Joan’s 2013 self-power anthem, ‘Different.’

Hold your horses peeps, ’cause this is just the beginning of a series of Backyard Sessions as Miley will also collaborate with Ariana Grande, Against Me!’s Laura Jane Grace and Melanie Safka for the sessions and each will give an option to donate toward the Happy Hippie Foundation.

Wowza Miley & Joan, we totally ship this!
