Gaga 'comforts Taylor at charity event'

Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney reportedly looked loving and affectionate during a charity event this weekend.

Lady Gaga reportedly consoled her beau Taylor Kinney when he got emotional at a charity fundraiser.

The love birds, who announced their engagement last month, headed to Red Pine Lodge at The Canyons in Utah this weekend for Operation Smile’s 2015 Annual Celebrity Ski & Smile Challenge.

The charity helps children across the globe receive corrective surgery for cleft lips and palettes, and when footage was shown during the VIP dinner, Taylor reportedly couldn’t hide his emotion.

“Taylor teared up during the video showing the medical surgeries for the children in need and the medical missions the ambassadors go on. [Gaga] had her hand on his back, consoling him, it was very sweet,” an insider told Us Weekly.

The charity, which is also supported by Jessica Simpson and Mariah Carey, made an impact on Gaga too, and she’s rumoured to have pledged a six-figure donation.

As well as a lavish dinner, Operation Smile put on a slopes competition, which saw Taylor go up against Olympic skiers and other celebrities. The insider reveals Gaga cheered her fiancé on from the sidelines as she doesn’t know how to ski.

“Lady Gaga and Taylor were super affectionate. She was wearing her gorgeous heart-shaped engagement ring and they both were very adoring of one another during the private dinner and reception,” the source added.

Gaga, 28, and 33-year-old Taylor broke their engagement news on Twitter in February, with the eccentric singer telling fans, “He gave me his heart on Valentine’s Day, and I said YES!”
