Perry’s ‘heart heavy’ at Auschwitz

Katy Perry’s “heart was heavy” as she visited former Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz.

The 30-year-old Teenage Dream songstress was in Poland on Wednesday touring the location, in which massive genocide was carried out during World War II.

And her experience at Auschwitz made her sad to the core.

“My heart was heavy today (sic),” she wrote on Instagram in a post attached to a landscape picture of Auschwitz.

“For ever let this place be a cry of despair and a warning to humanity, where the Nazi murdered about one and a half million men, women and children mainly Jews from various countries of Europe.

Katy is currently in Europe performing shows on her The Prismatic World Tour.

She’ll also be touring Japan, China and Thailand before the concert series draws to a close on May 14.

Rumours recently circulated suggesting Katy is pregnant with alleged beau John Mayer’s baby, but those were debunked.

“She is busy nonstop and the tour is very demanding,” a source told Mail Online. “She could not do those shows if she was with child. It’s just impossible. She has to dance and fly in the air and do all these stunts. She needs to be in top shape.”

Katy has been performing shows on The Prismatic World Tour since May 2014 and when the series wraps, she’ll have put on 141 concerts across Europe, North America, Asia and Oceania.
