Taylor Swift and Jimmy Fallon show off their dance moves on the one year anniversary of Jimmy taking over The Tonight Show.
Taylor Swift has got her dance on with Jimmy Fallon.
The blonde popstar is often caught shaking her thing in the audience at music awards and was recently seen bopping along at the Grammys.
Proving she’s up for a laugh, Taylor appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in a skit that saw the pair dancing at sports events.
“Yeah that was a long time ago, but we really used to go all out. I’m sorry I forgot about that being our exclusive thing,” Taylor deadpanned when Jimmy joked he was upset that she danced at events without him.
“We were famous Jumbotron dancers,” Jimmy told the audience.
“Yeah we used to go to the sporting events in New York and just really give it our all,” Taylor added.
The pair then starred in a video called NYC Fan Dance Cam, which captured real people dancing at sports games.
In between geunine clips were Taylor and Jimmy getting their grove on, including throwing down their popcorn to start robot dancing.
Later on they jumped up screaming and went into a choreographed routine which involved Jimmy reeling Taylor in like a fish – much to The Tonight Show audience’s delight.
“Nice casual walk down memory lane,” Taylor laughed as the two returned to Jimmy’s desk after their performance.
“Yeah we should do that again sometime,” he smiled.
“Yeah we should go back there,” she said.
Last night Jimmy celebrated his first year as The Tonight Show host, and Taylor was pleased she could be there to help her friend mark the occasion.
“Watch @jimmyfallon and me get dancy AND sporty tonight to celebrate the one year anniversary of @FallonTonight!! So excited about this!! (sic),” she tweeted.
During the show Jimmy got emotional and thanked everyone who has helped the series become a success.
“I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to all the staff and crew and everybody who has worked so hard on this show,” he smiled. “I can’t believe it has been a year already. I’m so lucky.”
