Ariana thrilled to honour Stevie Wonder

Ariana Grande feels incredibly honoured she was allowed to perform for Stevie Wonder yesterday.

Ariana Grande can’t believe she was in the same room as so many of her idols last night.

The 21-year-old singer had the honour of performing at a Grammy salute to Stevie Wonder in Los Angeles last night.

Among the stars on hand to celebrate Stevie’s success were Beyoncé Knowles, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga and Annie Lennox.

And Ariana still can’t believe she was chosen to be there yesterday, where she sang one of Stevie’s tracks.

“had the honor of singing one of my favorite songs in the world w the incredible @kennyedmonds today to honor the one and only Stevie Wonder!” she posted on Twitter.

“thankful to even be in the same room as so many of the arists that performed today let alone share a stage w/ them!! & Stevie Wonder! (sic)”

Beyoncé made sure all eyes were on her when she took to the stage on Tuesday for Stevie Wonder: Songs in the Key of Life – An All-Star Grammy Salute.

She wore a tiny patterned black dress and super-high heels for the occasion, putting her amazing voice on display.

Beyoncé and British star Ed also got along famously, laughing and joking on stage. And she wasn’t the only pop queen he bonded with last night.

“Just bumped into gaga she’s fetching me a drink. God bless the press (sic),” Ed wrote alongside a picture of himself and Gaga on Instagram.

The star was referring to a misunderstanding earlier this week, where a fake Twitter account claiming to be Ed had posted that Gaga mistook him for a waiter at the Grammys on Sunday. However, he was quick to rubbish the jokey tweet and slammed the press for reporting on it.
