Kylie Jenner: Bad times don't hold me back

Kylie Jenner used to worry about measuring up to her sisters who "had it all together".

Kylie Jenner thinks she has more “haters” than the average teen girl.

The 17-year-old starlet has grown up in front of the camera on reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which also features her older sister Kendall and half-siblings Khloé, Kim and Kourtney.

While she loves her life in the limelight, Kylie acknowledges the downsides of fame.

“During your adolescence, girls deal with their peers at school, then they go home and they don’t have to deal with it [there],” she explained to the US edition of Cosmopolitan. "It was a lot more haters to deal with… especially since I was younger and my sisters were so beautiful and had it all together.

“The good is definitely worth the bad.”

One rumour Kylie is fighting off again and again is that she’s had plastic surgery. Her lips appear much fuller in pictures now than before, but she’s always insisted it’s clever make-up.

“I’m not against surgery. I’d never say no, but I don’t desire it right now,” she revealed.

“You guys have watched me grow up since I was nine. My face is going to get different. Now, I know how to do my make-up, contour and everything.”

Last year was turbulent for the teen, who had to deal with her mum and dad, Kris and Bruce, breaking up. She didn’t let on how she felt on screen but admits it affected her.

“I didn’t say anything [while the cameras were rolling.] I went in my room and cried right after,” she said. “If they’re happy, I’m happy, I guess.”
