Emily Deschanel has confirmed she and her husband David Hornsby are expecting a baby.
Emily Deschanel is expecting her second child.
The 38-year-old star and her husband David Hornsby already have three-year-old son Henry together and yesterday she announced to E! News that baby number two is on the way.
No further details about the pregnancy are yet known, such as the gender or when their little bundle of joy is due.
The older sister of New Girl’s Zooey has been keeping busy recently, working on TV show Bones, which is currently in its tenth season. But the star has always known how to keep all balls up in the air.
“I have a great nanny who is there with me all day, every day. [Henry] will come to set and hang out just off camera,” she previously told Mom.Me.
“I can’t say he’s been silent the whole time, but I have a wonderful situation where I get to see my baby throughout the day, and I can’t imagine leaving him home at this point. But I know so many friends who have regular jobs and can’t take their baby to work, so I feel incredibly, incredibly lucky.”
And Henry has been taking lots of big steps, too. The star revealed he’s reached a lot of milestones recently, which is good prep for being the big brother.
“He got rid of his pacifier, lots of challenging stuff,” she smiled to Us Weekly. “He started preschool, he got a new bed, we moved. Lots of transitions.”
