Jennifer Aniston: Don't guess the future

Jennifer Aniston has joked that dry martinis help her stay energized.

Jennifer Aniston doesn’t look into the future.

The 45-year-old actress has had her fair share of ups and downs, enduring a public divorce from Brad Pitt in 2005. Now things are rosy, with the star engaged to Justin Theroux and creating Oscars buzz with her role in Cake.

The key to staying happy for Jennifer is not to worry about what’s to come.

“Proper sleep, exercise, vitamin B12 shots,” she listed to the British edition of OK! magazine when asked her secrets for keeping energised.

“Also it’s not looking into the future and seeing what lays ahead, like: ‘Oh my god, how am I going to do this? Are we going to get on the plane, do we sleep, do we not sleep? We land so late in the afternoon, and then when we do go back and think about the morning?’ And a dry martini helps!”

No doubt many of Jennifer and Justin’s fans would love to see into the future and find out when they will marry. The couple have been engaged since 2012 and there have been constant rumours about a wedding since.

When talking about her beau, the star says the best thing about him is that he’s “not an asshole”. She also revealed what she’s learnt about love.

“That if you take the laws of attraction, if you only love yourself 70 per cent, that’s what’s going to come back to you,” she philosophically reasoned.

“So if you fill up that 30 per cent, then all of a sudden there’s pure, good love standing in front of you. Then you realise, ‘Oh, this can be easy. It doesn’t have to be so hard!’”
