Ellie Goulding thinks the casting in Game of Thrones is perfect.
Ellie Goulding would jump at the chance to star in Game of Thrones.
The 27-year-old singer is a massive fan of the HBO show and was snapped with one of its stars, Gwendoline Christie, at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards in London, UK, earlier this month. Her obsession goes beyond just enjoying watching it though, as she would do anything to appear on the small screen.
“I could talk about this for such a long time,” she gushed to British newspaper Metro when asked if she would want a part in the programme. “I would be there if they asked me. I would be right there.”
She may actually have a chance at achieving her dream, as many British musicians have previously been roped in for cameo roles, such as Coldplay’s Will Champion and Snow Patrol’s Gary Lightbody.
Ellie explained what she loves most about the fantasy series, where regular cast members include English actresses Emilia Clarke and Lena Headey.
“It’s such a brilliant story line. The casting is perfect. They are so good at casting,” Ellie noted. “It’s the most important thing. You can have the best script but not the right cast. It’s perfect.”
It’s a busy time for the blonde beauty with her music. In October she announced a collaboration with DJ Calvin Harris called Outside, with the track released the same month, and she’s now revealed she’s back in the studio with him.
“We do write really well together. It helps if you are friends because you feel really comfortable,” she explained. “I’m really excited. I’m not sure I should say that so soon.”
