Jennifer Lawrence confesses she is prone to avidly reading books written by J.K. Rowling.
Jennifer Lawrence admits she was absolutely addicted to reading Harry Potter books.
The fictional seven-book children’s series written by J.K. Rowling has sold over 400 million copies worldwide, with the first tome being published in 1997.
Jennifer, who is now 24 years old, has been reading the books since she was a small child.
“I was an insane Harry Potter fan, I mean insane," she is quoted by Us Weekly as telling reporters at the premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part I in London Monday.
“I would line up at midnight — the night before.”
Similarly, many Hunger Games fans were lined up for hours to simply catch a glimpse of Jennifer and her co-stars at the red carpet screening.
The Academy Award-winning actress stars alongside Liam Hemsworth, Natalie Dormer and Josh Hutcherson in Mockingjay – Part I.
And she absolutely adores spending time with her castmates.
“Oh my God. They are my angels. They are my kittens,” she gushed.
Jennifer admitted filming some scenes with Josh was hard because of the nature of their personal relationship.
But she somehow managed to pull it off despite distraction.
“We can’t even watch the movie together,” Jennifer noted. “It’s really really hard acting with your best friend, because you have to pretend to be somebody else, and they are pretending to be somebody else. And you have to keep eye contact with them and be serious. It’s really hard.”
Jennifer admits 2014 has been quite a difficult year for her as she split from long-time love Nicholas Hoult and was victim of a nude photo leak scandal. The star then began a summer romance with Coldplay’s Chris Martin, but unfortunately their love affair reportedly came to an end in October.
“I have definitely grown in age, but probably not in maturity.” Jennifer said. “It’s been great for part of the year and horrible in other bits.”
