Kristen Stewart is reportedly feeling good about the focus she’s been able to give herself lately.
Kristen Stewart is reportedly in a “really good place right now”.
The 24-year-old actress has suffered her share of turmoil in the spotlight following a highly publicised cheating scandal in 2012 and subsequent split with on/off boyfriend and Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson.
But new reports suggest Kristen, who is currently promoting forthcoming film Camp X-Ray, has moved past the drama and is better than ever.
“She is in a really, really good place right now. She is really happy with the films she is working on and she is in a great spot in her career,” a source told E! News.
“She is finally able to focus on herself and not worry about the nonsense that is out there. This is the best many close to her have seen her in quite a while.”
The report follows on the heels of an interview with Vanity Fair, in which Kristen lamented about the pitfalls of fame. The actress insisted, however, she’s not bothered by others’ views of her.
“I never tried to shape people’s perspectives of me, which is something that a lot of people do. There are certain actors and artists who want to be a certain kind of actor or certain kind of artist, and I’m really not like that," she told the publication back in August.
“In terms of what people consume about you and then subsequently how they shape their opinion of you, none of it is wrong. It’s all a varied assortment of whatever flavours they’ve picked up at the newsstand or in the theatre or on the Internet.
“But that literally is something that is not designed by me and so it’s not something that bothers me. But I don’t want to add to this already pre-existing, enormous mound of salacious bulls**t that isn’t real,” she continued. “That’s not me defending anything. That’s true. Just being in the middle of it it’s weird to comment on it.”
