Niall’s fishbowl fiasco

Niall Horan feels like he's constantly being watched when fans crowd him.

Niall Horan sometimes feels like he’s in a “fishbowl”.

The 21-year-old Irish singer makes up one-fifth of boyband One Direction, alongside Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne.

Tonight the group is set to perform in New Orleans, US, as part of their Where We Are Tour. Travelling means constantly staying away from home and being followed by fans who are keen to get a look at the boys and while it’s flattering, Niall admits it can sometimes get a bit much.

“Looks like I won’t be gettin out of this hotel then Hahahaha!” he wrote on Twitter.

“Feels like a fishbowl ! (sic)”

The boys rose to fame after appearing on the British edition of The X Factor in 2010. Despite not winning the talent contest, they have gone on to produce number-one hits and already have a further tour planned for 2015.

The hysteria of their fans is well known, and this isn’t the first time Niall has taken to social media to ask them to calm down.

“Be careful when you’re driving ! Concentrate on the road and not staring at our car !its much better to be safe! (sic),” he warned recently.

It’s non-stop for the band, who have been busy working on their fourth record, aptly titled Four. To tease fans, they recently released a snippet of the first single, Steal My Girl, which will officially be available to buy on September 29 worldwide and October 12 in the UK.

“The album has just been mixed and mastered, was listening to it on the plane today! can’t wait for you to hear it! I know I keep saying it (sic),” Niall tweeted.
