One Direction's new album is set to be "their most personal yet" say music insiders.
One Direction apparently think they’ve recorded their best album yet.
The band, made up of Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, will release their latest musical offering Four on November 17.
It marks their fourth studio album and also how many years they’ve been together, after forming on The X Factor UK in 2010.
“It’s going to be their most personal record yet. The boys have been very serious about recording their best album yet, with a lot of personal lyrics and stories about their lives. They’ve also been working with some new producers like Naughty Boy,” a music insider revealed to British newspaper Metro.
To combat the problem with writing on the road, the boys reportedly built a studio that travelled around with them.
They’ve been playing dates around the globe on their Where We Are Tour, which kicked off in April in Colombia and finishes up in October when they play in Miami.
“They’ve been writing individually and together in different pairs,” the insider added.
To get One Direction fans even more excited, the band announced they’d be giving away one of the tracks for free.
Fireproof, co-written by Liam and Louis, was made available to download for free for 24 hours.
The boys also recently found out they’d scooped a Guinness World Record when it was announced they were the first act whose first three albums debuted in the top spot in America.
“This really is one of our proudest moments, both for us and our incredible fans. Whenever we talk about it we always say how cool it is that we did it first, how sick is that?!” Niall said of the achievement.
