Zach Braff is so obsessed with ice cream it's his favorite choice of gift.
Zach Braff’s guests always bring ice cream to his parties.
The actor rose to fame for his role in the TV series Scrubs and has since acted in big budget films like Oz the Great and Powerful and The Last Kiss. Branching out from acting, Zach wrote, starred in, and directed the film Garden State in 2005, which was a box-office hit and gained a cult following. Whilst Zach may be almost 40, he admits that his taste palette isn’t quite as mature.
“People know that I have pints of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream in my freezer, so instead of bringing over a bottle of wine they bring Chunky Monkey or Chubby Hubby. I have a problem. If it is in there, I’m going to eat it,” the actor explained to the American edition of People magazine.
It’s not only Zach’s food choices that are unconventional, but his music taste too. He has recently taken centre stage in the theatre show Bullets Over Broadway and uses a bizarre warm up technique.“I just bought the original-cast album of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. It was the first Broadway show I saw, so I use it to warm up,” says the actor.
When he’s not belting out Any Dream Will Do or slurping up ice cream, it seems that Zach will most likely be found on his phone.
“I am addicted to Candy Crush. I walked around humming the song. They’re so tricky in getting you to spend money on extra lives and moves. All of a sudden you’ve spent $9,000,” he jested.
