She is supposed to be rock's saddest & baddest diva. Would you agree?
Lana Del Rey graced the July 31st cover from Rolling Stone, posing in bed with a cat and her hair and makeup glammed out to the fullest. The headline reads “The Saddest, Baddest Diva in Rock”.
The singer, who recently made news for her thoughts on feminism, spoke on her state of mind and said, “Well, I feel f**king crazy.” She went on to say, “But I don’t think I am. People make me feel crazy.” Lana also talked about her “I wish I were dead” quotes and blamed it on leading questions, but added, “I find that most people I meet figure I kind of want to kill myself anyway. So, it comes up every time.”
Photographed by Theo Wenner, the singer, as sources say, had one dramatic point during her interview. Apparently she tried to cancel the whole thing. “I’m not sure if they should run this story,” she told the writer Brian Hiatt. “I feel like maybe we should wait until there’s something good to talk about. You know?”
Well, Lana has always been elusive and misterious. And the photo shoot for the interview did not prove us wrong.
