Andrew Garfield is comfortable being naked, and likes to get in touch with his "own nature".
Andrew Garfield loves getting his kit off.
When the Spider- Man actor is not donning the superhero suit, he loves to get back to basics and enjoys being free of his clothes.
But the 30-year-old star was far from being naked last night, when he stepped on to the red carpet for the London premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in a sharp-fitting Alexander McQueen suit.
“I love being naked. It’s important to be naked and be in touch with our bodies and not have shame about what we’re made of. I love being in touch with nature and my own nature,” he told British newspaper Metro.
Standing by his side was co-star and real-life girlfriend Emma Stone, who shone in a sunny yellow Atelier Versace gown that fell to the floor.
Although the pair are currently loved up, their onscreen romance isn’t so straightforward. Andrew shared his advice on how best to get over a breakup.
“Sometimes your heart gets broken and the best thing that you can do is feel it all. Let yourself feel it all because out of that darkness can come only light. You hit the deepest part and then that’s when,” he said.
Emma, 25, also added her own take on the onscreen romance between Gwen Stacy and Peter Parker, who leads a double life as web-throwing Spider-Man.
“That double life is a different situation and is very specific. I think Gwen understands that Peter is heroic and her father [a policeman] was a hero. It’ complicated but she understand the double life,” Emma revealed.
