Kristen Bell couldn't live without her Nintendo 64 games console in college.
Kristen Bell used to be a gamer.
The Veronica Mars star has lent her voice to the Assassin’s Creed videogame franchise as character Lucy Stillman. She might come across girly, but the star insists she can hold her own on the controllers.
“You know, I used to be so much,” she answered Empire magazine when asked if she is a gamer. “When systems first came out I was all over regular Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega, N64. My N64 was the only thing I couldn’t live without in college.”
These days, the star doesn’t have much time to kick back with a game. She’s been promoting the Veronica Mars movie and also lent her voice to lead character Anna in Disney smash-hit Frozen. Kristen, 33, is also a mom to her daughter with husband Dax Shepard, one-year-old Lincoln.
“Into my 20s I still played a lot of Mario Kart but I kind of just tapered off and now I find that I have too much to do in real life to sit down and explore a videogame,” she admitted. “I actually find I’m enjoying board games and things that don’t really involve technology. We play a lot of them at home and I’ve recently been recommended The Settlers of Catan by a couple of different people so I think we’re going to jump on that bandwagon next.”
An untitled Veronica Mars spin-off series has also been announced, and it’s rumoured Kristen could reprise her role on the small screen.
