Suki Waterhouse is reportedly struggling to get used to her boyfriend Bradley Cooper's close friendship with his ex-girlfriend Renée Zellweger.
Suki Waterhouse reportedly wants to be Bradley Cooper’s main confidante.
The British model has been dating the Hollywood star for over a year and it’s claimed they are considering marriage and children.
However, the actor’s close friendship with his ex-girlfriend Renée Zellweger is said to be a cause for concern for Suki.
“Bradley’s been very dismissive of Suki’s worries, insisting they’re just friends and that Suki needs to chill out. He really values trust in a relationship, so she’s trying to be mature about it, but it’s hard when he’s on the phone to his ex, talking about personal things like his family and upcoming work projects,” a source told British magazine Heat. “Suki feels that she should be that confidante.”
Bradley, 39, and Renée dated for around 18 months, with their romance ending in 2011. Since then they have been there for each other, with Bradley reportedly chatting to his ex a lot recently as it was the anniversary of his father’s death. Charles passed away in 2011, when Bradley was in a relationship with Renée.
Although Suki understands the former couple’s relationship is now platonic, it’s apparently still taking the 22-year-old a while to get used to things.
“She’s madly in love with Bradley and they’ve been talking about her moving to LA to live with him. She wants to marry him and have his kids one day, but this Renée roadblock has really thrown her. Bradley has a long list of beautiful exes, and the idea of him secretly speaking to them is Suki’s worst nightmare. She doesn’t care that Renée has a boyfriend – it still hurts,” the insider said.
