Mary-Kate Olsen and her rumoured fiancé Olivier Sarkozy are reportedly eager to expand their family.
Mary-Kate Olsen is supposedly keen to become pregnant.
The 27-year-old child star-turned-fashion designer has been dating French businessman Olivier Sarkozy, 44, for nearly two years now.
And sources tell Us Weekly magazine the couple are now “talking about trying to get pregnant”.
News broke at the end of February that Mary-Kate and Olivier had become engaged to be wed.
But apparently she wasn’t so eager to accept his proposal initially, as he attempted to win her hand in marriage once before to no avail.
“He tried about a year ago, and she wasn’t ready,” an insider revealed to the publication. “She didn’t need to be wined and dined. She wanted to make sure he would be good to her.”
While this will be the first marriage for Mary-Kate, it would be the second for Olivier, who has two children, Julien, 12, and Margo, ten, from his first union.
Despite their 17-year age gap, it appears the relationship has gone from strength to strength.
And it seems Mary-Kate has enthusiastically approached the idea of becoming a parent by treating Olivier’s kids with special care.
“Mary-Kate has made him a better father. She remembers all the kids’ special events," a source previously told the magazine of the husband and wife-to-be.
“She thinks he’s a great dad.”
The couple’s love is rumoured to be infectious, as their families have apparently accepted the relationship with open arms.
“Mary-Kate’s family thinks Olivier is the best thing to happen to her,” an insider gushed recently. “They love him.”
