David and Victoria Beckham’s son Romeo is reportedly following in their professional footsteps.
Romeo Beckham is reportedly “highly regarded in athletics circles”.
The 11-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham is thriving in sports and fashion.
Romeo has made his designer mother proud by modelling in a Burberry photo shoot and he is also said to be a talented athlete, like his football legend father.
“Romeo is an incredibly gifted runner, and he absolutely loves it,” a source told British newspaper The Mirror.
“Romeo is highly regarded in athletics circles, and he has an exciting future ahead of him.”
The second eldest son of four children, Romeo apparently runs in long-distance running races across England.
And his father David is often seen cheering his boy on from the sidelines.
“He drags David outside for runs around the streets and parks of London before he goes to school – he is that dedicated,” the insider said.
It is unknown whether Romeo will be running in the UK for long, as speculation is rife the Beckhams will be spending a lot of their time in Miami soon.
David is reportedly getting “closer and closer” to signing a deal to buy a football club in the city, which is located in America’s state of Florida.
Although the Beckhams have lived in Los Angeles before, Victoria supposedly isn’t open to moving Stateside again.
“Initially, he and Victoria talked about the whole family moving back to America but Victoria put her foot down,” a source told UK magazine Star, noting a compromise has been reached.
“It’s frustrating that they are going to be separated again as Posh has loved having David around more over the past year.
“But at the same time, she knows that getting a home in Miami where she can take the family during the school holidays is really the best idea all round.”
