P. Diddy’s New Year’s Eve party reportedly went on so long he felt compelled to change into his pyjamas.
P. Diddy supposedly donned “silk PJs” at his New Year’s bash.
The 44-year-old music mogul hosted one of his notorious A-list parties at his Star Island, Florida home on December 31st.
And according to Page Six, the hip-hop producer’s bash was so fun the festivities spilled well into the morning.
“The party rocked till 5 a.m., when Combs changed out of a suit and tie and into silk PJs, and guests were served French toast, hash browns, omelets and chicken and waffles,” the outlet writes.
The fete was sponsored by Ciroc and celebrities like Rick Ross, Beyoncé Knowles, Jay-Z, Robin Thicke and Drake were all on the guest list.
Before the party ended at 7 a.m., Diddy reportedly revealed his resolution for 2014 is “to be the best father I can be”. He is parent to five children with multiple women.
The star’s New Year’s party was decidedly tame in comparison to other recent outings.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs allegedly got into a scuffle at an MTV VMAs after-party last summer.
“Diddy got in a fight with someone partying too close to him and his girlfriend [Cassie],” a guest revealed to New York Daily News’ Confidenti@l at the time. “It was mayhem. Beyoncé was yelling to stop and Jay-Z was separating people and getting people away from Bey.”
The ruckus apparently lasted for just a few minutes, with a few people being pushed and some bottles broken.
However, Diddy was quick to reassure fellow revellers that it was safe to continue partying at the Dream Downtown in New York City.
“We were all dancing and the fight breaks out, and it happened so quickly and bottles were crashing everywhere, and everyone was screaming. People got pushed into bottles,” another guest tells us. “Then Diddy got up, took the mic and said, ‘It’s all cool! Ya’ll keep having fun! It’s no big deal, it’s over.’ ”
Following the alleged August altercation, Diddy took to Twitter to assure fans “the rumours aren’t true”.
