2013: This years best artists

We've listed this years best artists, here's the result!

10. Lady Gaga
With hit single “Applause”, the amazing album ARTPOP and her jet-setting lifestyle Gaga definitely makes the list.

9. Lorde
17-year old Lorde has aged like a fine wine (even though she’s not old enough to drink yet). Royals topped the charts and the album Pure Heroine is hailed around the world.

8. Bruno Mars
With a safe spot on the top of the charts throughout the year and award-winning music video “Gorilla”, Bruno did it just as his mentor Frank Sinatra– he did it his way.

7. Drake
With hits like “Started From The Bottom”, “Wedding Song” and “Hold On We’re Going Home” Drizzy has a safe spot on the list.

6. Katy Perry
Is there anyone who missed Katy Perry’s “Roar” this year? Her album Prism debuted in first place and sold 286,00 copies the first week. Katy Perry made 2013 so much better!

5. One Direction
Has One Direction even slept this year, or have they been “up all night”? In 2013 1D celebrated three years as a band while they released a 3D movie and the new album “Midnight Memories”. 1D 2013!

4. Kanye West
Kanye West does it all. Raps, produces, designs. This year he created the album Yeezus, became a father to North West and got engaged to Kim Kardashian. Then he also made “Bound 2” ;). 2013 spelled WEST!

3. Justin Timberlake
Justin made a comeback with the album “The 20/20 Experience”, and he also had time for a brief reunion with N’Sync. And then there was the tour with Jay-Z. Well done, JT!

2. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis
6 million sold albums and 6 weeks on the charts with songs like “Thrift Shop” and “Can’t Hold Us”. 2013 was really Macklemore & Ryan Lewis year.

1. Miley Cyrus
It’s easy being hindsight. Especially when you consider how much time you spent thinking of the “a-POP-calyptic” battle between Katy Perry & Lady Gaga. Suddenly Miley trotted out as a “Wrecking Ball” with her tongue outside the mouth and ass in the air and changed the game. There’s no denying it, Miley Cyrus is this years Queen Of Pop.
