Cowell ‘concerned about childbirth’

Simon Cowell is reportedly giving Lauren Silverman "anything she wants" during her pregnancy.

Simon Cowell is reportedly a “bag of nervous” over the birth of his child.

The music mogul is expecting his first child with girlfriend Lauren Silverman. It seems he is feeling rather worried about the impending labour process.

“Simon is a bag of nerves about the birth, but he wants everything to be as comfortable for Lauren as possible. They’ve booked a private area of the hospital, costing thousands of pounds a night, so Simon’s expecting a bill,” a source told British magazine Closer.

“He also wants a security team of hand, so there’s no disturbance. They’ve booked the date of the Caesarean far in advance, so they can make sure everything is organised. He’s already made sure Lauren has monthly scans and she’ll have a personal chef and full-time nanny. He’s told her she can have anything she wants.”

Despite rumours the couple are set to get married, Simon is allegedly keen to focus on their unborn son first. Lauren is also said to be a positive influence on the 54-year-old star and is helping him overcome work stress.

“Simon just wants to concentrate on the baby, he doesn’t want to rush into a wedding when his life is being turned upside down by the little arrival. He does intend to marry Lauren next year though,” the source continued.

“Lauren has been a major influence in helping Simon take all this in his stride. She doesn’t allow him to get grumpy about work things and that’s really made him take knocks a lot better.”
