Miley Cyrus thinks her pets should be more "grateful" that she sings for them.
Miley Cyrus feels like her dogs “judge” her.
The Wrecking Ball singer is known for her risqué stage performances and often sings about partying and other wild antics.
She might come across a certain way in public, but in reality she prefers to spend time with her adoring pets.
“I’m kind of a hermit… I tell people that think I’m cool that I’m super lame. I sound like all I do is club, but I’m the lamest! I never leave my house, that’s the only place I’ve been where I don’t have to deal with people, or the studio – that’s why I’m a workaholic,” she admitted to BBC Radio 1.
“I have four dogs that are super cute, so mostly I hang out with my dogs. The other day I sat at my piano and played to them for an hour and a half and they were sat there with tilted heads, listening to me. I feel like they’re judging me! They’re like, ‘This is a real life loser…’ They’re doing me a favour listening to me. I’m like, ‘You don’t know how much my tickets cost! You’re ungrateful; I feed you, I pick up your poop, I play for you…’”
Miley’s latest hit, Wrecking Ball, is an emotional love song about a failed relationship.
The 20-year-old recently split from her fiancé Liam Hemsworth and thinks her songs can help her fans feel close to her.
“Everything I write comes from a time in my life,” she explained.
“With [We] Can’t Stop I was living what I was saying and I knew this was what the fans wanted to hear from me; anything that connects me to my fans.”
