Lady Gaga will apparently become the first artist ever to perform in space in 2015.
Lady Gaga is planning to sing in space.
The outrageous pop star wants to be the first artist ever to perform outside of Earth. It seems her wish will come true in 2015, when she will blast off in a Virgin Galactic ship for a special song.
“[It will be] like nothing the world has seen before,” a source told Us Weekly.
Gaga’s performance will take place during the Zero G Colony tech festival in New Mexico. According to insiders, her other-worldly plans will require some hard work to become reality.
“She has to do a month of vocal training because of the atmosphere,” an insider added.
The Zero G Colony is a three-day festival celebrating cutting-edge technology and also boasts top-flight entertainment.
According to the publication, Gaga will fly into space and perform one track at dawn on the third day of the event. She is also expected to take her expert team of stylists along for the ride.
The 27-year-old singer apparently isn’t taking any chances when it comes to the adventurous voyage.
“Gaga has taken out a ridiculous life insurance policy!” a source revealed.
She isn’t the only famous face eager to board a Virgin Galactic ship.
Last month it was also reported that Harry Styles was desperate to get on Sir Richard Branson’s spacecraft next year. He is believed to have bid an impressive £150,000 in an expensive effort to book his place, while a host of A-listers including Brad Pitt, Justin Bieber, Ashton Kutcher, rockers Muse, Russell Brand and Kate Winslet have apparently already secured their seats.
