Bloom and Kerr cosy up

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr are supporting their statement their separation is an amicable one.

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr stepped out arm-in-arm on Saturday.

The couple announced plans to formally separate after three years of marriage on Friday, revealing they had been apart for months.

But those who hadn’t read reports of their split wouldn’t have known anything was wrong as the actor and Australian model smiled on a stroll together in New York City.

The pair were joined by their two-year-old son, Flynn, who they took to lunch at popular restaurant Amaranth, according to UsWeekly.

A photo published by the tabloid shows Miranda carrying Flynn on her hip as she holds onto Orlando, who turns his head toward them as they walk. The actor was later seen kissing Miranda on the cheek.

According to Us, the pair were seen arriving to their New York City apartment separately the night prior.

The latest sighting comes just a day after a spokesperson released a joint statement about their “amicable separation”.

“Despite this being the end of their marriage they love, support, and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family,” the representative said.

Orlando spoke to a videographer for TMZ hours after the news was announced, revealing he still considers Miranda “family”.

“It’s all good,” he said. “Life’s a mystery. Things don’t always work out the way you want, but it’s all good.”
