Rose McGowan’s home was almost destroyed by fire Monday, the star has revealed.
Rose McGowan’s home almost burned to the ground on Monday.
The actress, who is based in Los Angeles, tweeted about the incident, revealing her home almost went down in flames.
“Well, my house almost burnt down tonight,” she wrote around 1am on Tuesday.
“Thanks @courtenaysemel for calling the fire dept and saving my house.”
Shortly after that she added: “Back in the house. It smells like burnt metal and my eyes are burning. Grateful. Goodnight, moon. X."
Thankfully no one was hurt in the blaze, including Rose’s beloved pets.
“Everyone, including the dogs, is okay,” a source told Us Weekly.
Fortunately for Rose, the fire is not going to delay her October 12 wedding to artist Davey Detail.
“We’re getting married October 12th at a mansion,” she told Us Weekly.
The 40-year-old and her fiancé have planned a very intimate ceremony, with strictly family present.
“I have eight brothers and sisters and a massive family,” said Rose. “That takes care of it. That’s everybody. That’s it.”
The actress, who was once engaged to shock rocker Marilyn Manson, is also planning to have a very different type of music at her wedding.
“I’m having a New Orleans swing band – a brass band from New Orleans. I found them on the street,” she revealed.
Rose’s wedding dress will be designed by Oscar de la Renta. After the ceremony, the couple will head to Tahiti for their honeymoon.
“I’ve never been. I’ve always dreamed of having one of those little huts over the water,” she said.
This will be the Charmed star’s first marriage, and she clearly couldn’t be happier with Davey.
“He’s magic,” she said. “He’s made me a better woman. And I’ve made him a better man.”
