Demi Lovato’s The Neon Lights Tour starts next year and tickets go on sale in a week.
Demi Lovato will stage The Neon Lights Tour next year.
The singer and former Disney star announced the series of concert dates which will kick off on February 9, 2014 in Vancouver, Canada.
The 21-year-old shared the news via her Facebook page on Sunday, alerting fans that they can buy entry for a gig in just one week.
“So so excited to announce The Neon Lights Tour!!! Tickets go on sale October 5!” she wrote on the social networking website along with a video.
The mainly black and white moving image clip shows her singing live to a track as emotional fans scream adoringly at her in the crowds.
That same day The X Factor USA judge was spotted enjoying a shopping trip with boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, according to Just Jared, but in a new TV role she plays a girl in a same-sex relationship.
Demi said it was “pretty awesome” playing a lesbian in Glee and makes a cameo as character Dani in the hit musical TV series’ fifth season.
She appreciates the opportunity to depict a gay woman onscreen, especially since American gays have recently won equal marriage rights.
“Figuring out how to represent that community [was a unique challenge]… it’s been pretty awesome to represent that on primetime TV,” she told MTV News.
Demi’s character has a crush on Naya Rivera’s persona, Santana, and she loved working with Naya because she thinks her co-star is a huge source of inspiration.
“Well I took a meeting so before I even booked the role. I knew what the role was going to be, and [Naya Rivera and I] had an awesome time working together,” Demi gushed. "She’s such a bada*s; I love her. “
