Miley Cyrus delivered an emotional performance of her single Wrecking Ball at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada Saturday.
Miley Cyrus broke down in tears during a performance in Las Vegas Saturday.
The singer was among a long list of A-list acts who got the crowd to their feet at the MGM Grand Garden Arena for the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
Miley took the stage in a white lace-up leotard, grinding against her dancers as she belted her latest single We Can’t Stop.
But according to X17 Online, the performance took a more serious turn when the 20-year-old, who recently split from fiancé Liam Hemsworth, began her break-up ballad Wrecking Ball.
“Tears began to stream down her face,” the outlet reports.
The singer tweeted just before the show and got a shout out from her follow-up act, Avril Lavigne.
“@MileyCyrus: I ? RADIO”. Have a good set! I’m right after ya," the Complicated singer wrote.
The two-day iHeartRadio Music Festival kicked off on Friday with performances from Robin Thicke, Miguel, J. Cole, Sir Elton John, Keith Urban, Chris Brown, Muse, Adam Lambert, Queen and Katy Perry, among others.
Robin turned heads during a performance of his summer hit Blurred Lines, when the zipper of his pants came part of the way down and a button on his shirt popped off, revealing his belly button.
Also performing Saturday were Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Sir Paul McCartney, Drake, Tim McGraw, Ke$ha, Maroon 5, The Wanted and Ne-Yo, among others.
