Lady Gaga revealed Friday she’s putting the final touches on ARTPOP, eight weeks before its release.
Lady Gaga thinks her forthcoming album sounds like “mad angels”.
The Applause singer is preparing for the November 11 release of her studio album ARTPOP.
She logged onto Instagram Friday evening to reveal she’s putting the final touches on the record after having to release two singles early following online leaks of unfinished tracks.
“Finishing the album. Bye bye baby,” she captioned an image of herself in the studio.
“It’s so hard letting go of the music. Nobody can hurt it now. It sounds like mad angels I will always love ARTPOP,” Gaga continued in another post displaying a close-up of her face.
Gaga took the stage earlier this month to tease the album at an hour-long show at London’s Roundhouse.
The singer performed seven tracks from ARTPOP, including a debut of Jewels & Drugs, which features the singer rapping for the first time alongside Twista, Too $hort and T.I.
The performance marked Gaga’s first full live set since the 27-year-old underwent hip surgery in February to treat a labral tear.
The concert also followed a week after Gaga’s triumphant stage return at the MTV Video Music Awards last month. It marked her first major show since the medical scare, which forced the singer to cancel several US dates on her Born This Way Ball concert tour as well as put ARTPOP on hold.
Gaga recently opened up about her difficult climb to the top and vowed to continue fighting to keep her position.
“Do you know how much dirt I ate? Do you know the men I had to crawl through, the people that disrespected my body, my mind, my heart?” she recently told the American edition of Elle magazine.
The star also insisted the “pressure” of being in the music business isn’t something that affects her.
“What are you talking about pressure? I’m great under pressure. I’m warrior. I’m Rocky, round 12,” she said.
