Sandra Bullock and George Clooney have reportedly admitted to “feeling sparks” for one another.
Sandra Bullock and George Clooney are apparently ready to “test the dating waters”.
The stars have been friends for years and have been attending red carpet events together recently to promote their new movie Gravity. After appearing overly affectionate at the Venice Film Festival, fresh romance rumours have surfaced.
“Before Venice, Sandra stayed with George at his Lake Como home. They’ve known each other for years. Sandy has been a real support to George following his split from Stacy [Keibler] and her loves her adopted son Louis, three. Now they’re both admitting to feeling sparks, and are ready to test the dating waters,” a source told British magazine Grazia. “They want to spend more time together.”
George was seen repeatedly leaning into the actress, with the pair laughing and joking together at the festival. There were even claims the 52-year-old hunk had been “making eyes” at Sandra. Those close to the pair are hoping they will listen to their hearts and give romance a chance.
“Sandra trusts George beyond words and all their friends are in full support of the union,” the insider added. “They make a real dynamic pair, so hopefully this will be the start of something great!”
Sandra recently insisted the pair are just pals and that they have a deep level of “respect and understanding” for one another. While the 49-year-old brunette denied George had been “making eyes” at her, she did confess that she “adores” the silver-haired heartthrob.
George has been single since splitting from former wrestler Stacy, while Sandra hasn’t had a serious relationship since her divorce from Jesse James in 2010.
