Simon Cowell is said to be undergoing relaxation sessions with his hypnotist pal Paul McKenna.
Simon Cowell has reportedly sought professional “help” to stop stressing out.
The 53-year-old music mogul is said to be expecting a child with Lauren Silverman, the wife of his friend Andrew.
Since the baby scandal erupted last month, Simon has been caught up in a media frenzy.
The X Factor boss is said to have asked his friend, hypnotist Paul McKenna, to assist him with dealing with the excess pressure he’s under.
“Simon has realised he really needs to get help because in seven months he won’t be the big boss anymore – there will be a little boss,” an insider told UK magazine Look. “It’s a real change for him to not simply get a doctor to write out a prescription – he’s been using sleeping pills for years to counteract his insomnia. But when he has Paul to take him through relaxation sessions, he doesn’t need them.”
Adding to Simon’s stress is 36-year-old Lauren’s bitter divorce from Andrew. The socialite is thought to be around 12 weeks pregnant with Simon’s child, and the father-to-be is running out of time to get the assistance he needs. Sources say friends are concerned that Simon could face an embarrassing breakdown if Paul’s techniques fail.
“With the level of stress Simon’s under regarding the baby, there’s no question he needs Paul’s support right now. He’s helping Simon control his emotions and manage his stress levels so he can make the right decisions,” the source finished.
