Miley Cyrus has finally released the name of her new album following months of anticipation.
Miley Cyrus announced the title of her new record to over 13 million Twitter followers on Tuesday.
The 20-year-old pop star released her single We Can’t Stop to much success in June. The We Can’t Stop music promo has become the quickest video to reach 100 million views on VEVO.
Miley has kept mum on the actual name of the album that the single appears on for several months, but she finally decided to divulge the information on Tuesday.
The star rewarded fans for following her on Twitter.
“13 million #BANGERZ (sic)” she tweeted after achieving her 13 million follower goal.
Apparently the title is explains the quality of music fans can expect to hear on Miley’s latest LP.
The star ensures listeners will be pleased with the tunes.
“If you don’t know why my record is called BANGERZ you’ll know as soon as you hear it. Nothin but #BANGERZ,” Miley noted.
The singer has spoken previously about how important it is to her to impress fans with her music.
She also wants to shock people with what she and other musical collaborators have composed.
“We could just leak it. That’s what I’m always trying to do,” she told 4Music recently.
“I scare my label all the time, because I just want my whole record out right now. I’m ready for people to hear it.
“I’m keeping some of the collabs on the down-low. That’s what was so surprising when We Can’t Stop came out – people weren’t ready for it, so I want it to be like that."
