Lindsay Lohan 'kept in line by coach'

Lindsay Lohan is said to be dedicated to turning her life around with the help of a sober coach.

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly hired a “very strict” sober coach.

The troubled actress was released on Tuesday from Cliffside Malibu, after completing her 90-day court ordered rehab spell.

Lindsay worked closely with the addiction help specialist while in the facility and has now moved into his house in Los Angeles following her release.

“The coach is a really fun, great person, but is very strict about keeping Lindsay together and not falling back,” an insider told E! News.

The source added it was at Lindsay’s insistence that the coach was hired. She plans to keep him at close hand for the delicate period following her release. This includes accompanying her on an upcoming trip to Europe and then living with her for a time back in New York.

“I believe she is going to keep things low-key from now on,” the source added. “This is a new chapter in her life.”

Lindsay apparently told friends she is committed to her recovery. She has reportedly said she’s taken her time in rehab to heart and will do what it takes to turn her life around.

“She is taking this really serious,” the source explained. “She wants people to know the days of her clubbing and partying are over and she is a new girl.”

Since her release from care Lindsay’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley has reaffirmed the star’s commitment to her health and her sobriety.

Shawn said Lindsay is being proactive about tackling her ongoing battle with substance abuse.

The legal expert confirmed the screen star will be required to attend therapy sessions three times a week until November 2014.

The 27-year-old is due to take over E! channel late night talk show Chelsea Lately on Monday August 5.
