Lindsay Lohan is apparently planning to ditch the majority of her friends after having a therapy session about “toxic influences”.
Lindsay Lohan has reportedly decided to cut most of her friends out of her life.
The troubled star is finishing up the last part of her 90-day court ordered rehab at the Cliffside rehab facility in Malibu. It seems Lindsay is determined to continue her clean living ways once she leaves, so has been looking at the people she spends time with.
According to TMZ, the 27-year-old made a list of 100 pals and has decided 80 of those people are not good to be around.
“We’re told Lilo was inspired by a therapy session about ‘toxic friends and influences’,” reports the website.
Lindsay apparently made two lists – one with the friends she will keep close to her and the other people she wants to ditch.
She is expected to leave Cliffside in early August.
According to reports Lindsay is eager to travel to Europe to attend a screening of her new big screen offering The Canyons. The movie is being shown at the Venice Film Festival and the star is hoping to be there for the red carpet event.
Lindsay stars alongside adult movie star James Deen in Paul Schrader’s erotic noir thriller about “youth, glamour, sex and surveillance”.
A live Twitter session for the movie is scheduled for later this week, but Lindsay is yet to be confirmed to take part.
She voiced her delight at reactions to her performance in The Canyons on Sunday.
Variety gave her a glowing review, claiming the actress showed a “raw conviction” in her role. Lindsay took time out from her rehab treatment to show her appreciation yesterday.
“Wow…humbled and feeling so much gratitude,” Lindsay wrote on her Twitter account along with a link to the review and the hashtag #teamlohan.
