Beyoncé Knowles offered a toast to her former bandmate Michelle Williams on the singer’s 32nd birthday.
Beyoncé Knowles paid tribute to former Destiny’s Child bandmate Michelle Williams on Tuesday.
The singer celebrated her 32nd birthday on July 23 and Beyoncé wanted all of her fans to know.
The pop star posted a photo of herself with Michelle and Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland on her website with “Happy Birthday Michelle” written over it.
Beyoncé linked the post to her Facebook page, where thousands of followers shared, liked and commented on the image.
Fans have been clamouring for the trio to reunite since their last performance together during the 2013 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
The group disbanded in 2006 as the women pursued solo careers.
They recently released an album of their best-known hits called Love Songs, which also included a new track, Nuclear.
Kelly stoked rumours of a reunion while attending Elle’s Women in Music event back in April.
Quizzed about joining Beyoncé and Michelle for a session at a recording studio she coyly said, “It’s not a no”.
Kelly was cautious about revealing much more.
“We are very happy doing solo projects,” she told the New York Daily News.
Michelle is meanwhile enjoying the sunshine in Los Angeles while promoting her new music video for the single If We Had Your Eyes.
The star took a moment to thank fans for all the well-wishes.
“Just got to LA today! SO excited to read all the amazing birthday messages! I am very grateful for another year of life!” she wrote, “Thanks 4 the love!”
