Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have apparently come up with an agreement about their relationship.
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have reportedly “revived their romance” by spending time apart.
The two stars are engaged but are yet to set a wedding date. They have apparently been disagreeing on where to have their big day and live afterwards, with Jennifer favouring Los Angeles and Justin New York.
He has been in the Big Apple working on TV show The Leftovers lately, while Jennifer has stayed in the City of Angels. They are seeing each other at weekends, with Jennifer apparently joking it is the relationship equivalent of the 5:2 diet, which sees people eating well during the week and relaxing on Saturday and Sunday.
“Now Jen and Justin are mostly spending weekends together, when they do see each other, they appreciate one another so much more because of their time apart. It’s really revived their romance,” an insider told the British edition of Grazia magazine.
“They’ve come to realise their differences and it’s made them stronger as a couple – they will catch up on Skype every day but they really look forward to their weekends together.”
Although they initially couldn’t agree on where to live, both the stars were keen to make things work. They are said to be relieved to have come to an agreement that works so well.
“Both Jen and Justin felt like things were getting a bit tense between them. They’d been fighting over where to spend their time – the East Coast, which Justin loves, or the West Coast, where Jen feels most at home. And there’s been the ongoing stress over a wedding date. When Justin’s work suddenly took him back to New York, it gave them the perfect compromise – it’s given the relationship breathing space,” the source explained.
