Courteney Cox 'insecure about relationships'

Courteney Cox is reportedly feeling "vulnerable" after her split from Cougar Town co-star Brian Van Holt.

Courteney Cox’s recent breakup has reportedly “fed [her] insecurity” about never finding love again.

The former Friends star split from her Cougar Town co-star Brian Van Holt after dating for around six months.

Courteney broke up with former husband David Arquette in 2010 and the divorce became final in May this year.

Pals say the 49-year-old star is worried about her future.

“Courteney turns 50 next year and she’s just seen another romance crumble,” a source explained to British magazine Closer.

“Emotionally, she’s feeling very vulnerable. Courteney’s told friends she dreads the thought of getting older and hates the idea of losing her looks. On top of that, she fears she’ll never find love again. Breaking up with Brian has only fed that insecurity.”

Apparently Courteney’s break-up from Brian was amicable. The pair were said to be “fighting too much” so decided to call it a day.

“There’s no hard feelings, but she wasn’t into the drama their relationship brought to the table,” a source said earlier this month.

Brian appeared to open up about the pair’s relationship just last month.

He seemed smitten with Courteney at the time.

“Courteney’s amazing,” he smiled. “Courteney’s phenomenal.”

Courteney has nine-year-old daughter Coco with David, and the two have stayed on good terms.
