Chris Brown has let fans in on the collaborations they can expect from his new record and teases there are more to follow.
Chris Brown has confirmed Rihanna features on his new album.
The 24-year-old singer and the Barbadian beauty were involved in a famous on/off romance, which was first rocked when Chris assaulted the star in 2009.
Currently broken up, it was recently reported the star had cut his collaboration with Rihanna from his upcoming album, X.
However, he has now put these rumours to rest by tagging her in a tweet about his hotly-anticipated release.
“New album features
NICKIMINAJ ,Kendrick , @rihanna, @KELLYROWLAND , @wizkhalifa ,bobatl and more surprises to come. “X” (sic)" he wrote on Twitter.
Some time ago, Chris teased the track with Rihanna would be called Put It Up and had an R&B vibe.
However, it was then rumoured he had dropped his ex-girlfriend from the album.
“Just saw the working tracklist for X yesterday – Rihanna is not on there,” a source previously Hollywood Life. “Record execs wanted that song on there, but Chris said he would rather not and wouldn’t allow the record to be released unless they took it off.”
Since splitting from Rihanna earlier this year, Chris has rekindled his relationship with former flame Karrueche Tran.
The pair apparently attended the BET Awards after-party at the end of last month looking “loved up”.
X is due for release on July 16 and it’s rumoured a track featuring Jennifer Lopez will also be included.
