Lindsay Lohan judge ‘won’t allow’ rehab switch

Lindsay Lohan can’t switch to an East Coast rehab centre as the trial judge in her case won’t allow it.

Lindsay Lohan will not be allowed to switch to another rehab centre.

The 26-year-old actress was court ordered to spend 90 days in rehab and is expected to complete treatment in August.

Last week, Lindsay switched from the Betty Ford Center to Cliffside Malibu.

She reportedly was hoping to ditch Cliffside for another rehab facility on the East Coast to allow her to see her family more easily.

But an insider said the judge and prosecutor in her case wouldn’t allow the transfer, should she request it.

“[Neither] the judge nor the prosecutor would sign off on another rehab move for Lindsay, if she requested,” the source told Radar. “It was made clear that allowing her to leave Betty Ford for Cliffside would be a one-time occurrence.”

The source added that Lindsay is responding well at the Malibu centre and is happy to stay, despite reports she was heading to the Seafield Center in Westhampton Beach, New York.

“Lindsay is receiving excellent treatment at Cliffside and responding well,” the insider added to Radar. “She hasn’t asked to go to another facility. She is happy with her current situation, and doesn’t want to leave.”

The Liz & Dick actress entered the rehab facility last month after pleading no contest to reckless driving and lying to police investigating her June 2012 car crash in Santa Monica, California.

Last month TMZ reported Lindsay’s parents Michael and Dina got “nuclear” with each other during a taping for American conflict-resolution TV show The Test.

Sources reveal the former spouses accused each other of lying about adultery before engaging in mutual recrimination over their daughter Lindsay’s troubled state of affairs.
