Matthew McConaughey has compared riding a horse to steering a bicycle.
Matthew McConaughey has never had a problem riding a horse because it’s just like getting on a bike.
The Hollywood star was one of the hosts of The Sixth Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic event in New Jersey over the weekend. Although he admitted not being too up-to-date with the sport, Matthew doesn’t think it would be too hard to learn.
“I’ve never played polo so I don’t know what I would do with a stick in my hand or whatever it’s called,” he laughed to New York Post. “I wouldn’t call myself a cowboy riding a horse, but I’m OK on horses. I knew how to ride and riding a horse is somewhat like riding a bike. You don’t forget.”
Matthew opted for a dapper white three-piece suit for the upmarket event and was joined by his model wife Camila Alves. She gave birth to their third child Livingston in December and showed off her post-baby body in a tight yellow dress.
The actor is enjoying having another son, who is brother to their kids Levi, four, and three-year-old Vida.
“We’re doing fine. It’s a constant honeymoon,” Matthew added.
The couple joked the sports event was their first proper date since they welcomed Livingston into the world last year. Although they might not get much alone time together, the 43-year-old made it clear that he still feels incredibly lucky to have her in his life.
“There are all kinds of ways,” he told E! News, when asked what he finds sexy about Camila. “There are ways she is sexy as a woman. There are ways she is sexy as a human. There are ways she is sexy as a mother. There’s many angles. I will say that.”
Also at the polo match were Dree Hemingway, Ashley Olsen and Chloë Sevigny.
