Channing Tatum becomes father

Channing Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum have welcomed their first child into the world.

Channing Tatum and his wife have become parents for the first time.

The Hollywood hunk and his spouse Jenna Dewan-Tatum are understood to have welcomed their first child into the world on Thursday in London, UK.

Sources have confirmed the news to Us Weekly and RadarOnline. No further details about the new arrival, such as the sex or weight, are known at the moment.

Channing and his wife announced they were expecting a baby in December. They have been married for almost four years and arranged to have the child in London as Channing is working on the movie Jupiter Ascending there.

The actor has regularly spoken about how much he is looking forward to parenthood, although he joked about having reservations about his child entering the world in Britain.

“I hope it doesn’t just pop out with a weird accent,” he laughed earlier this year.

Jupiter Ascending will start filming in the US next month, at the same time as Jenna will begin work on her new TV show.

“The baby will get top billing as far as priorities go," an insider told Us Weekly. “Channing is going to be the most adorable hands-on daddy ever and do whatever is necessary to make sure Jenna can balance it all.”
