Rob Kardashian agreed to pay a paparazzo who accused him of stealing her camera equipment and a criminal case will not be pursued.
Rob Kardashian has settled with a paparazzo who accused him of robbery.
The reality star had also been accused of battery after photographer Andra Viak said he took her camera and stole its memory card.
Lawyers for Rob told a judge in court on Wednesday that a civil settlement had been reached.
Rob, 26, has apparently agreed to pay Ms. Viak the value of the camera equipment and the snapper is satisfied with the outcome, sources told TMZ.
This will almost certainly mean the end of the criminal case against the star.
The incident happened when Ms. Viak began taking photographs of Rob in the parking garage of a West Hollywood gym back in March.
According to TMZ, Rob became upset, then confiscated and damaged the paparazzo’s camera equipment.
He was represented by Robert Shapiro in court, the lawyer partner of his late father Robert Kardashian.
Rob previously dismissed claims made by Ms. Viak and pleaded “not guilty” to battery and petty theft.
He claims the photographer was hiding in her car in the gym’s garage and waited to take a snap when Rob took his shirt off. The reality star has struggled with his weight as of late and is believed to be tipping the scales at 240lbs.
