Robert Pattinson has apparently sent out a clear sign by deciding to remove his pet dogs from ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart’s care.
Robert Pattinson’s decision to remove his dogs from Kristen Stewart’s home is reportedly “very symbolic”.
The Twilight stars are understood to have called time on their relationship last week after they struggled to get over Kristen’s cheating scandal.
Robert is said to be determined to get on with his solo life and has already taken his things away from the property he shared with Kristen, 23. He made the move on May 19 and his decision to take his pets is being seen as a game changer.
“He showed up early in the morning in a big red pickup truck and was in the house for maybe 30 minutes,” an insider told Life & Style.
“When he came out, the back of the truck was loaded with stuff. Suitcases, a bike, trash bags full of his things.
“His dogs have lived with Kristen the whole time – even when she cheated, they stayed at her house – so it is very symbolic that he has taken them now.”
Kristen admitted having an affair with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders last year. The pair were caught on camera locked in a steamy embrace.
Although Robert and Kristen tried hard to work things out, their differences were apparently too hard to overcome. It’s been reported they argued about the affair before splitting this month, with Robert also tired of Kristen’s mood swings.
The 27-year-old is still thought to be coming to terms with the break-up and appeared shaken as he collected his things.
“He looked like a man who had just been kicked out,” the insider added.
The couple are thought to have called time on their relationship after having a huge argument on May 13, which was Robert’s birthday.
