Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are allegedly having couples therapy to save their rocky romance.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are reportedly in couples therapy.
The actors haven’t admitted their relationship is on the rocks despite several stories which suggest so.
Now Miley and Liam are apparently looking for professional help to salvage what is left of their love.
“She’s hoping to save her relationship by enlisting a therapist,” an insider told In Touch magazine. “She knows that Liam has one foot out the door and that she’ll lose him if she doesn’t act fast.”
Their romance allegedly began to flail in February. Liam is rumoured to have kissed Mad Men actress January Jones during a pre-Academy Awards gathering at that time. Apparently they left the bash together too.
Since then Miley, 20, and Liam, 23, have hardly been seen together. She was also not been wearing her engagement ring for quite some time.
“Miley and Liam fight constantly because he’s always questioning if she’s the same girl he fell in love with,” the insider continued. “He doesn’t understand all of her new changes in life.”
The former Hannah Montana actress is currently focusing on recording her new album.
She recently released a duet named Ashtrays & Heartbreaks with rapper-turned-reggae artist Snoop Lion.
Miley is hoping that “professional help” and perhaps “enlisting more of a spiritual counsellor figure” will help bring them closer, “even though they’re both not happy”.
Liam’s brothers reportedly staged an intervention with his plans to marry his fiancée.
The Hunger Games actor’s siblings Chris and Luke are said to have aggressively questioned his marital intentions.
His relatives were so determined for him not to tie the knot with Miley that they teamed up to persuade him otherwise.
The duo have been together for almost four years and got engaged last June.
