Geri Halliwell and Mel B are currently involved in a "dare" competition.
Geri Halliwell has described Mel B as a “great wingman”.
The two singers found fame in pop band the Spice Girls alongside Mel C, Victoria Beckham and Emma Bunton.
Despite the demise of the band, the stars remain close and have a fun friendship that includes daring one another to do crazy things.
“[Next], she has to make an appointment with the dentist and when he put his fingers in her mouth she has to lick them,” Geri laughed to Australian radio show hosts Kyle and Jackie O.
“I’ve put it on my blog, but she’s just quietly ignored it. I think she’ll do it though! She is a great wingman!”
The last challenge Geri had to complete involved her going into a packed bar and singing.
Always up for a laugh, the bubbly redhead gave it a go.
“I walked into this pub and it was full of men and what I didn’t expect was that they were all shouting stuff and it really threw me off,” she giggled.
Recently it was revealed Geri would be taking Mel B’s place on show Australia’s Got Talent after a judge ruled Mel’s contract with the country’s version of The X Factor prohibited her from working for another network until January 2014.
Geri is extremely grateful for the opportunity she has been given.
“You know what? Something wonderful happened; something beautiful happened. You know in life sometimes you find out who your real friends are? Well, I have to say what a beautiful person Mel B is,” she gushed.
“She was set to do it and sadly she couldn’t, but the first thing she did was ring me up and say, ‘You know what darling, I can’t do it, but I really want you to and I’ve put in a good word with the producers,’ and I thought, ‘Oh my god, I love you, you’re such a generous gorgeous person.’”
Geri will be joined by Kyle Sandilands, Dawn French and Tim Omaji as mentors on Australia’s Got Talent.
