Olivia Wilde says she feels “possessed” by demons when she is menstruating and thinks men should experience it too.
Olivia Wilde thinks males should have to deal with pre-menstrual syndrome.
The 29-year-old believes in order for men to understand what women go through when they have their period, they should deal with some common symptoms too.
The actress shared the idea with her followers on Twitter.
“I think all men should have to spend one day possessed by evil, hungry, emotionally expressive demons so they can forever understand PMS,” she wrote.
Olivia is engaged to comedic actor Jason Sudeikis and announced the news via her micro-blogging account in January 2013.
She lashed out at some men who chimed into the conversation offering sarcastic comments.
“To the men replying with badly written jokes about all women being crazy, go try and perpetuate human existence without us, d**kface,” she added.
Olivia was previously married to Tao Ruspoli, an Italian filmmaker and musician, whose family owns a famous palazzo in his native country.
They married when she was only 19 but she filed for divorce in March 2011 citing “irreconcilable differences”.
During her online posts, she pointed out that her former spouse wasn’t a fan of the way she used language.
“Word of the day: douché. Please try to incorporate it into convos,” she encouraged her fans. “Ex: "People who write “convo” are lazy and dumb." Response: “douché”. (sic)”
