Lohan attempting to ‘buy time’ around rehab stint

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly actively looking for ways to avoid actually physically being in a rehabilitation facility she is ordered by the court to be enrolled in by May 2.

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly looking for all ways not to physically be in rehab by the time she was ordered to commence her stint.

The actress has been sentenced to 90 days treatment in connection to a car crash last year. She needs to enter a facility by May 2, or appear in Los Angeles Superior Court with her lawyer Mark Heller.

Lindsay is apparently doing everything in her power to stay outside of the facility as long as possible.

“The judge told Lindsay that she had to be enrolled in the rehab by May 2, but it’s possible that her defence attorney might try and say that she is ‘enrolled’ with her actual check-in date later than that day,” a source told Radar Online.

“She could say that she is scheduled to go to rehab at a future date and has everything arranged with a rehab place, but she might not physically be there on May 2.”

Although the facility must be booked within days, apparently that has not yet been done.

This procrastination is thought to have been purposefully done.

“Lindsay is now saying that she wants to go to rehab in California and she’s looking for a treatment cente, and she thinks that this might help her buy some more time too,” the insider said.

The New York Post previously reported that Lindsay was a fan of putting things off until the “11th hour”.

“She’s a drama queen. She feeds off this last-minute frenzy,” a source told the publication.

“She’ll probably go to rehab on Wednesday night, so she can avoid coming to court.”
