Beckhams 'put family before money'

Victoria and David Beckham have their family "at the heart of every decision" despite their renewed career success.

Victoria and David Beckham have their family “at the heart of every decision”.

The couple recently made headlines when it was announced their estimated joint worth had reached £200 million for the first time.

According to British newspaper The Sunday Times, the British power duo have still got “the Midas touch” that has seen their fortune rise by £10 million in the past twelve months.

Friends of the Beckhams have explained that despite their financial success, it is family they place as their highest priority.

“If all the wealth went away tomorrow, they would still be blessed with each other and their children,” an insider told British magazine Hello! “Family is at the heart of every decision. They have three beautiful boys and one beautiful daughter in their lives.”

Their family’s fortune is never-the-less something Victoria and David do take seriously. The insider revealed how every decision they make about their careers is carefully crafted to tie in with a long-term plan.

“They’re always looking to do new things, to re-energise, keep their brands fresh and to remain relevant; Victoria by pushing boundaries in the fashion world and David by often reinventing his brand,” the friend continued. “The Beckhams aren’t short-term people; they have a long-term vision and a strategic plan.”

Victoria recently celebrated her 39th birthday. The source said she would no doubt have been handsomely gifted by her doting husband to mark the occasion.

“He is very generous, especially when giving presents,” the source smiled. “David is better at giving than receiving.”
