Lindsay Lohan will decide on her rehab facility soon, her lawyer has confirmed.
Lindsay Lohan still hasn’t decided on a rehab facility.
The actress has been sentenced to 90 days treatment in connection to a car crash last year. She needs to check in by May 2 and it had been thought she had already decided on an establishment, but that is not the case.
“Lindsay is expected to sit with me this week… and then a final approval has to be rendered by the court,” her lawyer Mark Heller told New York Post.
Lindsay was ordered to seek help in a lockdown facility after pleading no contest to misdemeanour charges of reckless driving, lying to authorities and obstructing police from performing their duties.
It was thought she would be spending time at the Seafield Center in Westhampton Beach, New York, although her attorney explained there are still five options to choose from. Among them are thought to be the famed Betty Ford Clinic, where she has been treated in the past.
The 26-year-old actress’ attorney also slammed reports Lindsay will only check into treatment if she is allowed to take her medication Adderall with her.
“She has not, nor would she be poised to, mandate any type of requirements,” he insisted. “Nor has she directed me [to a facility that permits] her to use any types of substances such as Adderall. She has to conform and comply with the [rehab centre’s] requirements.”
Although the pills can be used to treat Attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), they can also be mistreated by people who want to stay thin or get high.
Lindsay raised eyebrows by attending the Coachella music festival in California over the weekend, despite her ongoing personal problems. Many saw this as a poor decision due to her battle with drug and alcohol addiction, but she has claimed the event posed no problems for her.
Asked if she’d remained sober by TMZ, Lindsay insisted she had.
